Being a volunteer at the Salon means collaborating with your efforts to ensure that this great cultural event goes ahead.
You will be part of the organisation and will assume important functions for the smooth running of the event, which may be useful for the future. You will also receive a certificate accrediting your participation, which can be added to your curriculum vitae.

What is a volunteer?
A volunteer is a person who collaborates selflessly with the event so that it can take place in a safe and well-organised manner.
What do I get for volunteering?
You will be part of the internal staff of the organisation, and you will learn how one of these big events works from the inside. In addition, you will be in contact with the authors, guest stars, members of the City Council and sponsors, etc. and you will receive a certificate accrediting your participation as a volunteer.
Who can volunteer for the Salón?
Anyone over 18 years of age.
How many hours of service must a volunteer provide?
We work in shifts of about six hours, which can be in the morning or afternoon, taking into account the lunch break. Before starting, shifts will be assigned in an attempt to ensure the comfort of each person, being these agreed as far as possible.
How soon are volunteers chosen?
The registration process opens about four months before the date of the show and closes shortly before the show. During this period we will make the selection, so if you are chosen we will contact you.
What commitments will I make if I am elected as a Salon volunteer?
All volunteers are expected to be punctual for their shifts, to take responsibility for their tasks and to act with respect and goodwill.
What happens if, after I register as a volunteer, I am unable to attend the Salón?
The first thing is to let us know as soon as possible so that we can look for a replacement. We understand that there are acceptable reasons for this, but we need them to be communicated.
Is volunteering compatible with a job or unemployment benefits?
